Challenge Day '08

As a teacher at RV, I treasure the positive opportunity I received by attending Challenge Day. It was a great experience and I was able to connect with my students, my peers as well as members of the community in ways that I never knew possible. As long as Challenge Day is offered at RV, I will continue to participate and hope that all will give it a chance.

  1. Challenge Day was an amazing experience. It proved my students with a safe environment to let down their walls, and it allowed me to show my students that I am human, too. Challenge Day lets people know that they are not alone in their struggles of life and that there are people around you who care and can provide support. It also provided students an opporutnity to see that no matter what has happened in their life, there is always an opporunity to take control and reach their goals, and that it's up to them to do it!

  2. I loved Challenge Day. It helped me get out a lot of pent up emotions and realize a lot of different people can actually relate to each other. It's your opprotunity to get out a lot of emotion and many students and teachers alike should take advantage of an amazing day where you can spread feelings of hope and love.
